# Frequently Asked Questions

## Why does an interaction not appear?

Confirm you are close enough, on duty when required, authorized for the system, and aiming Third Eye at the correct entity or target zone. The yellow ERS subject marker is not necessarily the investigation objective.

## Why does an old guide tell me to press E, G, F4, or O?

Those instructions were replaced during the July 2026 control-conflict cleanup. Investigations and MedicBridge now use `qb-target` during normal play. ERS crew invitations use `Y` and `N`.

## How do I change a keybind?

Open **FiveM Settings → Key Bindings → FiveM** and locate the action by description. Hardcoded NUI navigation keys cannot be changed there.

## What should I do if the cursor remains on screen?

Press `Escape`. For Investigations, use `/clearinvestigation` if the state remains stuck. Report recurring focus issues with an F8 screenshot.

## Can a regular player use the DOJ workstation?

No. Regular players use `/mycourt` or `/courtpay` for their own current character. They cannot view another person's records or edit official court records.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.nwrrp.com/getting-started/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
