# EVO K9 Quick Guide

Approved on-duty handlers may deploy K9s under department policy and use-of-force rules.

## Deploying a K9

1. Respond to an approved K9 facility or dog house.
2. Use Third Eye (`R-ALT`).
3. Select, name, and deploy the K9.

## Controls

| Key          | Action                         |
| ------------ | ------------------------------ |
| `O`          | K9 action menu                 |
| `L`          | K9 radial menu                 |
| `G`          | Place supported items          |
| `Numpad 8/2` | Increase/decrease leash length |
| `R-ALT`      | Context interaction            |

K9 apprehension is a use of force. Give warnings when feasible, maintain control in public scenes, and use the K9 to enhance rather than unnecessarily escalate roleplay.
